How do I add money to my Manifest account?

There are two ways to add funds to your Manifest account.

Direct Deposit

Setting up direct deposit is the first step to keeping your professional checking account at Manifest separate from your personal checking account at your other bank. Plus, when you set up direct deposit with some distribution service, you will receive your funds even faster. To set up direct deposit with any number of services that pay you, simply tap the icon with the three dots directly below the debit or set aside balance chart, and tap "Set Up Direct Deposit."

Transfer From An Account

You can transfer funds from other banks or credit unions by linking them to your Manifest account. Once connected, you can use the account transfer tool (the icon with two horizontal arrows below your debit or set aside balance chart) to move funds between accounts. Note: Transfers from one Manifest account to another are instant, but it could take several days for funds to move from an external account to a Manifest account. To fund your account faster, we recommend you transfer money from your external bank app or website.

Does Manifest have any fees?

Nope. Seriously, Manifest charges no fees.

You may incur an ATM fee from a 3rd-party if you use an out-of-network ATM. You can avoid this by using in-network ATMs.

How do I initiate a dispute on a charge?

To dispute a charge:

  1. Log in to the Manifest banking app.

  2. Go to the Debit tab.

  3. Locate the transaction you would like to dispute.

  4. Tap the transaction to open the transaction details.

  5. Tap "Dispute Charge."

Can I get paper checks?

Manifest does not offer paper checks. You can pay bills electronically through Direct Debit or with your Debit Card.

How do I turn on/off low balance alerts?

Manifest will notify you when you balance drops below a certain amount. The default is $50, but you can customize this to be any amount you like. To turn low balance alerts on or off:

  1. Log in to the Manifest banking app.

  2. Tap the your profile pic in the upper right corner.

  3. Select "Settings" from the menu.

  4. Tap the toggle next to "Low Balance Alerts."

How do I change my low balance alert amount?

To change the balance amount that triggers a low balance alert:

  1. Log in to the Manifest banking app.

  2. Tap the your profile pic in the upper right corner.

  3. Select "Settings" from the menu.

  4. Tap the dollar amount next to "Notify me when my debit balance goes below."

  5. Enter in a new dollar amount.

How do I turn on/off transaction alerts?

Manifest will let you know when a new transaction is posted to your account or when your card has been used. To toggle this alert on or off:

  1. Log in to the Manifest.pro app.

  2. Tap the your profile pic in the upper right corner.

  3. Select "Settings" from the menu.

  4. Tap the toggle next to "New Transactions Alerts."

How can I pay another business or creator if they’re requesting payment through a payment app like Venmo?

Yes, you have two easy options:

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Payments: Use the P2P Payments feature directly in the Manifest app to send or request money quickly and securely—perfect for seamless transactions.

Payment Apps: If the other party is using a payment app like Venmo, you can link your Manifest Debit card as the primary payment method. Most apps allow you to set this up in just a few taps.

Here’s how to set up your Manifest Debit account as a payment method for some of the more commonly used payment apps:

PayPal:

  1. Log in to app

  2. Click the menu icon at the top left

  3. Click "Payment preferences" in the "Manage finances" section.

  4. Click the "More about payment preferences" link at the top of the screen.

  5. Click "Link a card or bank"

  6. Follow the prompts to link your Manifest Debit card or account.

Cash App:

  1. Log in to app

  2. Click on your profile at the top right

  3. Go to "Linked banks"

  4. Follow the prompts to link your Manifest Debit card or account.

Venmo:

  1. Log in to app

  2. Click on your profile at the bottom right

  3. Scroll down to the "Banks and cards" section

  4. Click the "+" to Add a bank or card

  5. Follow the prompts to link your Manifest Debit card or account.

Zelle:

  1. Open the Zelle app

  2. Tap the Settings gear icon in the top left corner

  3. Select Account

  4. Select Switch Account 5.Enter the information for your new card
